The AppleВ TV app movie playback test measures battery life by playing back 1080p HD content with display brightness set to 8 clicks from the bottom.

Testing conducted by Apple in September 2021 using pre-productionВ 16-inchВ MacBookВ Pro systems with AppleВ M1В Pro, 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD.

Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBookВ Pro. Pre-release Final Cut Pro 10.6 tested using an 18-second project with 8K ProRes 422 media, at 8192x4320 resolution and 23.98 frames per second.
